How do I share my annotated charts with others?

StockCharts Support January 27, 2009

If you are member and you've uploaded your annotated chart to our servers, you can then share that chart with others using one of these techniques:

1. Click on the "Share" link below any SharpChart.  A window will appear where you can see the sharing options.  Note: They must be members to see intraday or real-time charts.
  2. Since each chart is just an image, you can use your browser's "Email Picture" feature to send the chart as an attachment. Simply left-click on the chart to select it, then right-click on it and use the "Send Picture" or "Send Image" command. Since this sends a copy of the actual image, your mail message will be larger, but anyone will be able to view your chart even if it is an intraday of real-time chart.
  3. Members of our Extra or PRO service can store the charts in a list and then mark that list as "Public" so that anyone can look at it. See this article for details on creating a public list.
  4. You can cut and paste the image of the annotated chart into your own web site and share them that way as long as our copyright message is still visible.

Note: You cannot share your account password with others in order to share your charts with them. Your account is a personal account and can only be accessed by one person - you. If you knowingly allow non-members to access your account, your access to the site may be terminated.
