Probably. There are several parts of StockCharts that use popup windows for legitimate, non-advertising reasons. Popup blocking software will prevent you from using many of the important features of our site. Things that may stop working due to popup blockers include: scan results, saving favorites, annotating favorites, and certain support pages. You'll need to configure any popup blockers you have to allow popups from "stockcharts.com".

Note: Older computers often have several programs that contain popup blocking software. Program such as web browsers, browser toolbars add-ins and Internet privacy filters can contain popup blockers. Make sure that you configure all of those programs to allow popups from "stockcharts.com".

A popup window with a "Success" image in it should appear when you click that link.  If no window appears, then you have a popup blocker in your computer somewhere that needs to be configured to not block any windows from "stockcharts.com"   (If you hear a beep when you click that link, then you definitely have a popup blocker installed.)
