Have you saved a chart or created a ChartList and realized you need to edit the title? In this article, you will find step-by-step instructions for editing a chart's title, as well as the title for a ChartList.
To edit a ChartList's name, you will need to access the “Edit” view. First, go to the “Your ChartLists” section of Your Dashboard, then select “Edit” from the “View As” dropdown menu next to the ChartList title you want to change.
Once the Edit view appears, click on the current ChartList's name. Once the box becomes an active text box, you can erase the current name, type in your new ChartList name and, lastly, click the green “Save” button.
One way to edit an already saved chart's title is to use the Edit view. To access Edit view, follow the same steps as the previous section. Once the Edit page appears, go to the table listing all your charts and click the green pencil icon next to the chart you want to rename.
Once this is done, a pop-up window will appear in which you can edit the chart's title. Erase the current name in the “Chart Name” box and enter the chart name you want. Finally, click the green “Save Changes” button.
Another way to edit a chart's title is from 10 Per Page view. To access this view, go to the “Your ChartLists” section of Your Dashboard, then select “10 per Page” from the “View As” dropdown for the ChartList with the chart titles you wish to edit.
Inside 10 Per Page view, locate your desired chart and click on its current title. Once the box becomes an active text box, you can make your changes to the title. Save your changes with the green “Save” button.
