Posting charts on social media is a great way to show others what you have created and what you see happening in the market. Below are the steps to post charts to Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.
To get started posting a chart to social media, you will first need to launch the “Share This Chart” window by clicking the “Share” link that appears below any SharpChart.
Note: You can share P&F charts too; just look for the “Share” link that appears below your P&F chart on the P&F Workbench, then follow the instructions below.
Once you click “Share,” the above window will be displayed. Click the social media platform where you want to share your chart.
If you chose Facebook in the Share window above, the first step is to get logged in to Facebook (if you aren't already). Enter your email and password, then click “Log In”.
Once you're logged on, the window above will display. Just like with any other Facebook post, you can write something about the chart in the “Say something about this” area. When you're ready, click the “Post to Facebook” button to share your chart.
If you chose Twitter in the Share window above, you can log in and tweet all in one step. Enter your user info and password, then click the “Log In and Tweet” button.
If you chose LinkedIn in the Share window above, the first step is to get logged in. If you already have an account, click the “Sign In” link at the bottom.
Then, enter your username and password as usual and click the “Sign In” button.
The chart link is already attached to your post. As with other LinkedIn posts, you can add comments and change the sharing settings. When you're ready, click the “Share” button to post your chart.
